Donna Rayne – A Happy Cats Meowz

Donna Rayne – A Happy Cats Meowz and Welcome to Mr. Sparrow’s Healthy Cat. Taking care of cats has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I have purchased numerous products for my cats over the years.

Due to the fact that they are my little furry children. I try to get the most for my money but, it’s something my cats will enjoy.

Buying the best products for my cats and how they interact with their toys, or the look on their faces if they like the new food I bought them.

Sometimes it’s good and sometimes I strike out and my little furry children are mad at me for the rest of the day!

My cats mean everything to me and so, with the trial and errors of the different products I have purchased for them, I want to help other cat parents by giving them strong options of tried and truly tested by my sweethearts.

Behind the name:

A Little Story About Sparrow

Growing up I always had a cat to take care of and when I had children, I always made sure they had an animal to take care of as well. I believe it taught them compassion and responsibility in taking care of another life.

In 2009 it was when I found Sparrow. He was a tiny little kitty who was feral and no one could catch him to give him a home.

I had gone to pick up my youngest son from his friend’s house. And that is when Sparrow came running up to me and let me hold him!

Right then and there, I knew he was the cat for me. Everyone was surprised he ran to me. Thus, a beautiful relationship was born.

We took Sparrow home. My son names him Sparrow because his cat’s name was Jack!

One day, Sparrow got out and ran away. I was devastated. For about two weeks we couldn’t find him. Then one day, my son-in-law saw him walking alongside the road and he caught him again.

Sparrow was very finicky and was hard to please with food. We tried everything. He was picky about his toys and so it was all trial and error in providing for him.

Now Sparrow is 10 Years Old

I now have an elderly cat and his needs have changed. Back to trial and error on what makes him happy and what makes him angry at me. Food really isn’t a problem anymore, well-canned food isn’t. Except that he loves pate’ and nothing else.

So, that’s what I buy him and he definitely is a happy cat!

Donna Rayne – A Happy Cats Meowz and Loving It!

The purpose of my website is to conduct reviews for the products that have been tried and true. What works for a kitten compared to what works for a Senior cat.

Sparrow has tried many products from canned cat food to dry organic foods.

To what a mess he might make with a brand of cat litter for the cleaner kind and one that doesn’t cause a cat box smell in the house. I want to give you the best suggestions that will help your furry children!

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

  1. Donna, all but one of our six cats have just wandered into our lives. I think they can smell we softies. All but one has lived to be 19plus. Each of them had different likes They all loved to be with us and that was an honour.

Reading about you I really think you completely have the right website for you. Your compassion and intelligence with your children and having animals around them is great.

Thank you so much, Helen. I appreciate your reaching out to me. Cats always find their way to my house too! I feed a cat that is the neighborhood cat.

But, he sure knows who feeds him. When he hears me go outside and sit on the porch, he comes running to greet me. Warms my heart!

He was really skinny when I first moved here and now he has grown so much and is a pretty huge cat now 🙂

I’m working on an article about cat/pet insurance and cat playground trees.

If you have any ideas of what you would like me to write about, feel free to reach out 🙂

      All my best,

  2. Donna, your story is fascinating and interesting.

Sparrow would definitely love you forever. I would need to stay close to your blog since I intend to keep a Cat as my pet.

Unfortunately, I would need to go buy one since I don’t have much luck to see anyone wander to my house.

    1. Thank you very much, Cyrus! I hope a cat finds it’s way to you! They definitely are a joy to have!

      Happy Weekend!
